Green Pea Salad With Creamy Dressing

Saturday July 11, 2009
Pea Salad This green pea salad is as pretty as it is flavorful, with bright green peas, shredded carrot, bell pepper, red onion, and celery. Serve this salad with any summer meal or cookout, or take it along to a potluck event or picnic. Make this a few hours in advance and chill thoroughly for best flavor.

This is a great recipe site. You guys should expand to haute cuisine, and maybe run contests, or message boards and offer decorating ideas for baking hobbyists. You wisely resisted the lure of graphics we poor dial-up users have to contend with. For decorating ideas you could put all photos on one page.

This site is friendly and approachable in a world where site owners are becoming more and more intolerant, autocratic, and abusive of users. They should know we’ll just go away.

I like the URL and the atmosphere here. By the way, Easy chocolate cupcakes is a terrific recipe. Be sure to tell bakers to use ONLY buttermilk (or surface milk if they make their own yogurt) and that they HAVE to divide the dry ingredients, milk, and hot water at least in two when they alternate ingredients.

I saw a great cooking tip on a southern cooking show once. It said to put blue cheese inside your hamburger patties before you cook them. This turned out to be a wonderful idea I hope you guys can share with others through this site.
