Simple Macaroni and Cheese Simple to prepare, and simply delicious, this macaroni and cheese is made with cooked macaroni, a blend of cheeses, light cream, and butter. There's no complicated sauce to make, so it's a snap to prepare. I used a blend of Cheddar, American, and Colby cheeses.

Sounds dee-lish, but what to serve with it? Does anyone know of a site where the main recipe also includes side-dish suggestions?

I love it with frozen cooked peas. It could be a side dish for any meal, or you could serve it with a vegetable and just about any meat or poultry. Pork chops or tenderloin, ham, chicken, burgers, hot dogs. Just to name a few… ;-)

I always serve this dish with fresh broccoli spears or spinach or a mix of yellow and green zucchini.
Or if ni=ot veggies how about a nice sald mix of romaine lettuce,sliced cucumbers,tomatoes with a nice olive oil and vinegar dressing
