Barbecue Bean Soup

Barbecue bean soup recipe includes navy beans, barbecue sauce and ham.

Cook Time: 8 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound navy beans soaked overnight, simmered until tender
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 to 3 cups cubed ham
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
  • 6 cups water
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce

Preparation:

Drain cooked beans. Combine beans with all other ingredients in slow cooker; cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours or on HIGH for 3 1/2 to 5 hours.
Serves 8 to 10.
