Ham Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. diced ham
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 c. corn
  • 3 tomatoes, peeled & diced, or 1 can (14.5 ounces, diced tomatoes)
  • 2 potatoes, peeled & diced
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
  • chicken broth or vegetable broth to cover

Preparation:

Place ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 10 hours, or until vegetables are tender. Add more broth or a little water if necessary. Taste and adjust seasonings.
Serves 6 to 8.
