An easy marinade for beef jerky, from our forum

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup Liquid Smoke
  • 3 Cups Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 lb Brown Sugar

PREPARATION:

Mix according to directions above, then let mixture sand for 5 minutes, then place in bowl with tight seal, and let 10 minutes while cutting beef, fish or turkey. Makes enough for 4 lbs of meat. Place meat into marinade, and let stand minimum of 10 minutes, shaking bowl and turning it every so often to cover pieces of meat equally. Drain in a sieve or colander, place on your trays and dry.
