Preparation:
Try sprinkling dried dillweed or onion powder (powder sparingly!) on the mayonnaise, Miracle Whip, butter, etc. right after you spread it, before adding the ham and stuff. (My husband is a ham person too and he likes this.) I have also toasted tomato slices and sprinkled them with Parmesan cheese and/or dried leaf basil. This is time-consuming, but pretty good!
