Skillet Chicken Cordon Bleu

All the flavor and none of the fuss!

Ingredients:

  • 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 can cream chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked ham
  • hot cooked egg noodles or rice

Preparation:

In skillet, melt butter and cook chicken about 10 minutes or until browned on both sides. Remove; set aside. Deglaze pan with wine, then add soup, cheese & ham. Heat to boiling, stirring often. Return chicken to skillet and reduce heat to low. Cover, cook 5 to 7 minutes or until the chicken is done, stirring occasionally. Serve over noodles or rice.
