PREPARATION:Chop sausage small and fry (no oil- it has enough), then I rinse it to
remove fat with hot water,add to slow cooker. Fry chopped
onion, add cabbage ... fry until limp.
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and cook until ready... I put it on
all day on low (7 to 9 hours).
Kim's Note: You don't have to fry these ingredients.... but I like the toasted
sausage... and once the pan is dirty, well, the whole lot goes in
then. If I am feeding extra that night, I add more cabbage and more
potatoes, more liquid too if you feel it needs it.
