PREPARATION:In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with garlic powder and black pepper until beef is cooked through. Drain off excess fat and transfer beef to a 3 1/2 to 5-quart crockpot. Add cheese, milk, green bell pepper, chopped onion, and pressed garlic to the beef. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 7 hours. Serve the beef on toasted sandwich buns with an assortment of condiments. Makes 8 sandwiches.
