PREPARATION:Cook ground beef, green pepper, and onion in a heavy skillet over medium-high
heat, stirring and breaking up until meat is browned and no longer pink. Remove fromskillet; drain.
Brown smoked sausage in the same skillet; drain. Place ground chuck mixture, sausage, next 7 ingredients in a 5-quart slow cooker. Cook, covered, on LOW for 7 to 9 hours. Stir cheese into hot bean mixture just before serving. Serves 10 to 12. Shared by Melanie
