Ground Turkey Soup Recipe

This crockpot turkey soup contains ground turkey, vegetables, and Italian seasonings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 3 tsp. beef bouillon
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 c. diced green pepper (optional)

Preparation:

In a skillet, sauté ground turkey and mushrooms in butter until mushrooms are tender and turkey is browned. Add all ingredients to the crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
Serve with crusty rolls or garlic bread.
Serves 4 to 6.
