Harvard Beets

Beets are cooked with a sweet-sour sauce in the crockpot.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 (16 oz) cans whole beets, drained

Preparation:

Mix sugar and flour and stir in the water and vinegar. Place beets in slow cooker; stir in vinegar and sugar mixture. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
4 to 6 servings
