Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 3 cup broccoli, chopped
- 2 cans (4 oz.) mushroom pieces or 1 cup fresh chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
- 4 cups V-8 juice or tomato juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
Preparation:
Brown beef; drain off fat. Add vegetables, tomato juice, water, and seasonings. Place in slow cooker; cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours. Serves 6
