Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 sweet green or red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
- 1 can (15 ounces) lima beans
- 1 can (16 ounces) red kidney beans
- 1 large can baked beans (28 ounces)
- 2 cans (15 to 16 ounces each) Great Northern beans
- 1 can (approx. 16 ounces) pinto beans
- 1/2 cup thick barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Preparation:
In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until beef is no longer pink; drain well. Combine browned beef mixture with remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Stir to blend thoroughly. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.Serves 12 to 16.
