  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons cornmeal
