Ingredients:
- 1 cup cream-style corn
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup diced ham
- oil for deep frying
Preparation:
Mix together corn, eggs, milk, flour, baking powder, salt, and diced ham. Heat oil in deep-fryer or deep kettle to about 365°. Drop batter by heaping tablespoons into deep hot fat; fry until golden brown. Serve hot, with applesauce or sweet and sour sauce, if desired.
