  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons cornmeal
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon peel
  • pinch salt
