Ingredients:
- Meatballs:
- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup quick oatmeal
- 1 cup fine, dry bread crumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- Sauce:
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- dash liquid smoke, if desired
Preparation:
Combine meatball ingredients and shape into 1-inch balls. Place in a single layer on cookie sheets lined with waxed paper. Freeze until solid; transfer to freezer bags until ready to cook.To cook, combine sauce ingredients; stir well. Place frozen meatballs in a 13- by 9-inch baking dish; pour sauce over them. Bake for about 1 hour at 350°. Makes about 6 dozen meatballs.
