Cook Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 8 thick pork chops, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
- salt and pepper
- paprika
- flour
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 can evaporated milk (12 ounces), undiluted
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms, about 8 ounces
- chopped fresh parsley
Preparation:
Season pork chops to taste with the salt, pepper, and paprika. Dredge chops in flour; brown quickly in skillet in butter and olive oil. Place chops in baking pan and pour evaporated milk over them. Bake for 1 hour at 325°. Add mushrooms and the condensed cream of mushroom soup; bake an additional 30 minutes. Sprinkle with minced parsley and serve with potatoes or rice and a green vegetable. Serves 8.
