PREPARATION:Directions for beef and bean dip.
Cook ground beef with 1/2 cup chopped onion until meat is browned and onion is tender. Stir in ketchup, chili powder, and salt. Add chopped chile and beans; mash mixture well. Heat through; top with cheese and remaining 1/2 cup chopped onion. Keep beef and bean dip warm in chafing dish, fondue pot, or crockpot. Serve beef and bean dip with chips. Makes 4 cups of beef and bean dip.
