Spinach Casserole with Artichokes

A tasty side dish casserole, made with canned artichokes, frozen spinach, and cream cheese, along with seasonings.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 (14-ounce) can (packed in water) artichoke hearts, drained
  • 4 (10-ounce) packages chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) margarine, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 350°. Thinly slice artichoke hearts and sprinkle over the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13x2-inch baking dish. In a bowl, thoroughly mix drained spinach, cream cheese, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder. Spread mixture over artichoke hearts. Cover spinach mixture with bread crumbs. Bake until crumbs are lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
Spinach casserole serves 8.
