INGREDIENTS:
PREPARATION:Cream butter and sugar, add water, egg yolk and vanilla; blend well. Sift together flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture, blending well. Shape into small balls. Roll balls in lightly beaten egg white, then roll in finely chopped nuts.
Place on greased baking sheet. Bake five minutes at 350°. Make a thumb print and return to oven; bake 8-10 minutes longer. Remove from oven and spoon a little jam or jelly into the thumbprint.
