INGREDIENTS:
PREPARATION:Preheat oven to 350°. Melt semisweet chocolate with milk over hot water; cool. In a mixing bowl, cream butter. Gradually beat in salt and 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Blend in vanilla and the cooled chocolate mixture. Stir in flour and nuts until well blended. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in granulated sugar. Place cookies on ungreased baking sheets and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes about 3 1/2 to 4 dozen chocolate cookies.
