Ingredients:
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 can (approx. 7 ounces) tuna, flaked and drained
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper or lemon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Preparation:
Combine cottage cheese, tuna, 1/4 cup crumbs, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, celery, and onion. Blend tuna cheese mixture into the beaten eggs; pour into a greased 1-quart baking dish. Combine remaining crumbs with 2 tablespoons of butter and sprinkle over top of casserole. Set in a large pan of hot water and bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until firm.Tuna casserole recipe serves 4.
