Cheese Walnut Bites

These cheese bites are made with blue cheese, chopped walnuts, celery, onion, and seasonings.

Ingredients:

  • 2 small packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 ounces blue cheese (about 1/2 cup crumbled)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped or grated onion
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts

Preparation:

Blend cream cheese and blue cheese; add celery, onion, cayenne, and mayonnaise. Shape mixture into very small balls and roll the chopped nuts. Chill thoroughly. Makes about 20 appetizer cheese bites.
