Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups frozen corn kernels
- 1 1/2 cups frozen lima beans
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups shredded process mild Cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Heat oven to 375°. Combine ground chuck, onion, tomatoes, Worcestershire, chili powder, and salt. Pat mixture into a 1-inch layer in a 3-quart casserole. Layer potatoes, flour, corn, lima beans, then green pepper. Cover and bake 45 minutes; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 minutes longer, or until vegetables are tender.Hamburger Casserole serves 4 to 6.
