Cook Time: 12 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation:
Cream butter with brown sugar; add eggs, mixing well. Combine molasses and soda; combine with the creamed mixture. Stir in sifted flour, raisins, and chopped nuts. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.Makes about 3 dozen raisin cookies.
