Ingredients:
- 16 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) tomatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon dried leaf basil
- dash black pepper
- dash cayenne pepper
Preparation:
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-low heat; add mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for about 50 minutes, or until desired consistency is reached. Serve with hot cooked spaghetti.Serves 4 to 6.
