Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef, lean
- 1 can condensed vegetable soup (approx. 10 1/2 ounces)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs or 2 or 3 slices of bread, shredded
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper, optional
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard, optional
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients together gently; shape into a loaf. Place in a shallow baking dish and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until done.Serves 6 to 8
