Desserts can be impractical in the crockery cooker because of the extra moisture and lower heat, but cheesecakes bake beautifully in the 5-quart pot. A 7-inch springform pan fits nicely in the 5-quart crockery. Out of the seven cheesecakes I made over the past two weeks, only one had a small crack, plus the smaller size is perfect for the average family or small gathering.
