Cocktail Franks in Currant Jelly Sauce

Use cocktail franks or cut up hot dogs.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup currant jelly
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 16 ounces cocktail franks or regular hot dogs cut in 1-inch slices
  • 1 can (8 ounces) pineapple tidbits, drained

Preparation:

In a medium saucepan combine currant jelly, chili sauce, mustard, and lemon juice. Add franks or hot dog slices and pineapple. Simmer cocktail franks 15 minutes. Transfer cocktail franks into a chafing dish, crockpot, or fondue pot for serving.
Keep cocktail franks warm while serving.
