Easy Skillet Apples

Easy fried apples make a great side dish for breakfast or dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 8 medium apples, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Preparation:

Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sauté over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, or until tender. Serve as a condiment.
Serves 6 to 8.
