Ingredients:
- 1 pound bacon, not thick-sliced, room temperature
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Preparation:
Cut each slice of bacon in half, crosswise. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and thoroughly coat each slice of bacon. Arrange on a lightly oiled rack in a foil-lined broiler or jelly roll pan.
Bake until bacon is just crisp and sugar is bubbly, about 20 minutes (more or less, depending on the thickness of the bacon slices). Let cool and serve at room
temperature.
Makes about 24 to 32 pieces.
