- 1 onion, peeled
- 1 carrot, cut in 1-inch chunks
- 1 rib celery, cut in 1-inch chunks
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- finely chopped green onion and parsley, for garnish
