Garlic Oregano Chicken

Broiled chicken recipe with garlic and oregano, along with olive oil and other seasonings.

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 to 3 broiler chickens, halved
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • dash pepper

Preparation:

Wash chicken and pat dry. Combine oil, garlic, and oregano.
Brush chicken all over with the oil mixture; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place chicken on broiler rack, skin side down. Broil chicken 6 to 8 inches from the heat, turning and brushing with seasoned oil frequently, for 30 to 45 minutes, or until chicken is done. Juices should run clear when chicken is pierced with a fork.
Broiled chicken recipe serves 4 to 6.
