Ham and Apple Bake

An easy meal with ham slices and apples.

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 ham slices, about 1/2-inch thick
  • 2 cups thinly sliced apples
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2/3 cup apple juice or cider

Preparation:

Directions for ham and apple bake
Place 1 slice of ham in a shallow baking dish; cover with apple slices, raisins, and sprinkle with brown sugar. Top with remaining slice of ham; pour apple juice over all. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serve with sweet potatoes or rice and green vegetable.
Ham with apples serves 4 to 6.
