  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 TB. brown sugar
  • 2 TB. cider vinegar
  • 2 TB. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced, or use equivalent dried granules or powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • pork roast, loin, pork shoulder, etc.

Combine ketchup, water, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Place pork roast in a large food storage bag or in a nonreactive dish. Marinate pork overnight.

Put marinated pork roast in the crockpot; cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.

Delicious!!!, Member Palmeira

This pork recipe is very flavorful and moist. I never marinate it overnight and it still comes out great. When I make it I also add about 1 Tbsp of cinnamon and about 1/2 cup of crushed wet red pepper. If I have some wine open then I add in 1/2 cup of white wine. I cook it on 225 in my Nesco for about 8 hours. My family always compliments on how delicious it is.
