Chicken Marinade

A chicken marinade recipe and links to many more barbecue sauce and marinade recipes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 can (12 ounces) Dr. Pepper

Preparation:

Puree tomatoes; add to a 1-quart saucepan with onions, Worcestershire sauce, allspice, salt, and peppers. Bring to a boil, then simmer for five minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in Dr. Pepper. Use to marinate chicken. Makes about 4 cups of marinade.
