- 8 ounces sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup sweet red bell pepper
- 4 cans (16 ounces each) pork and beans
- 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Directions for easy pineapple beans.Combine all ingredients in a 3-quart Dutch oven or stock pot. Cover and cook over medium low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Pineapple beans recipe serves 12.
