Family Friendly MealMay 14, 2008By Kathleen1958
"I made this for a pot luck at work. It took one adventurous person to try it and give a thumbs up. Within minutes, the whole crockpot full was gone. This dish is very filling and delicious. I've made it for my family and only need to add some warm cornbread muffins to make a substantial meal. Everyone in the family loves it and is able to eat it. We mash some up for our little ones and for Grandpa (because he refuses to wear his bottom teeth). It was difficult to coax the kids to take the first bite. I finally got them to dip their fork into the sauce and lick their fork. Now this dish has become one of their favorites."
