A very simple crockpot beef stew with beer and onion soup mix.
Ingredients:
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 envelope brown gravy mix
- 2 1/2 to 3 pounds round steak, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 1/3 cup flour
Preparation:
In slow cooker mix well, beer, onion soup mix and brown
gravy mix. In plastic bag shake flour with round steak cubes; transfer steak and excess flour to slow cooker.
Stir gently to coat meat with the liquid. Cover and cook on LOW
for 8 to 10 hours.
Serve with hot cooked noodles or rice. Serves 8 to 12.
