Janet's Smoothie

This smoothie recipe is made extra-healthy with fruit, flax seed oil, walnuts, wheat germ, and yogurt.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 wedges ripe cantaloupe cut into cubes
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 mango (when in season)
  • 1 cup plain non-fat yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed or oil
  • several walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons plain or honey wheat germ
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation:

In blender chop then blend all ingredients; pour into tall frosted glass and enjoy!
I vary the fruits, but always have blueberries and strawberries.
