Easy Cinnamon Biscuits with Pecans

These easy cinnamon biscuits are made with biscuit mix and cinnamon.

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups biscuit mix, such as Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Preparation:

In a small bowl mix sugar, pecans and cinnamon and set aside.

Prepare the biscuits according to package directions, using the cold water for liquid.

Shape mixture into a ball and place on a sheet of lightly floured waxed paper.

Press down slightly to form a disk, then cut in 12 equal wedges.

With your hands, shape each wedge into a ball, roll in melted butter, then in cinnamon, sugar, and pecan mixture.

Arrange dough balls in a buttered 8-inch round layer-cake pan, pressing down slightly.

Bake in preheated 400° oven for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Serve them warm.
