Molasses gives this bread machine oatmeal bread extra special flavor.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup quick oats
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon boiling water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons powdered milk
- 1 tablespoon vital wheat gluten, optional
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Preparation:
Add ingredients to your bread machine according to manufacturer's suggested order. Use medium crust setting.
Makes a 1 1/2-pound loaf.
