1/2 teaspoon fresh or freeze dried dill, or other herbs, if desired
dash garlic powder
Slice baguette thinly; arrange slices on a large baking sheet. Melt butter with remaining ingredients. Brush some of the mixture over the slices. Bake at 325° for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until dried and browned. Bake less time and cut thicker slices for softer croutons. Serves 10 to 12 with soup or salad.
