Sausage And Egg Casserole Recipe

Thanks to Liz for sharing this breakfast casserole recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 pound sausage, browned, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8 each eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon, salt
  • pepper to taste

Made this for the first time this morning and it took less than 10 minutes to prepare and was SO GOOD!!!! I wouldn't change a thing. Make sure you press all the bread into the eggs before you put it in the oven so the cubes are all soaked. Bake it uncovered. Tastes like a mix of french toast and sausage omelette!
