Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef, ground round or sirloin
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 8 ounces mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 tablespoon nutmeg
- 1/2 tablespoon dried leaf oregano
- 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed, excess moisture squeezed out
- 3 tablespoons Flour
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup milk, scalded
- 3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Stir in remaining garlic, salt, nutmeg, oregano, thawed spinach, and flour. Stir until well blended. Beat eggs and milk
together. Pour over ingredients in the crockpot; stir well. Cover and cook on LOW
setting for 7 to 10 hours, or until firm. Just before serving, sprinkle with the shredded cheese.
