This broccoli side dish is a snap to prepare, and makes a tasty and healthy addition to just about any menu.
1 large bunch broccoli, trimmed, or about 1 pound of frozen broccoli florets
3 tablespoon butter
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste, optional
Steam broccoli until tender but firm, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Heat the butter in a heavy
nonstick skillet over medium heat; add the garlic and
sauté for 1 minute. Add the cooked broccoli, lemon
juice and salt and pepper to taste, cooking briefly to combine.
