Awesome Recipe!September 28, 2008By LHayner
"I LOVE this recipe! I just keep making it and my husband and I devour it every time! I agree with the previous post - and, in fact, I never add salt to the dish. A few modifications: I add a small white onion, chopped, instead of just the small amount that the recipe calls for - I personally like onions, what can I say; I use Italian bread crumbs, and add a cup of bread crumbs into the broccoli mixture before pouring into the baking dish - I think this addition really makes the dish that much more like stuffing; I use light mayo so the dish is a little healthier, and I really don't think it takes anything away from the casserole. Overall, a really great recipe!"
