Cocoa Brownies

Delicious brownies made with cocoa and nuts.

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 6 tablespoons evaporated milk or half-and-half
  • pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Preparation:

Cream butter or margarine and sugar. Add eggs; beat well. Add flour, cocoa, evaporated milk, salt, and vanilla; beat thoroughly. Stir in chopped nuts. Spread brownies in a greased and floured 8-inch square pan. Bake brownies at 350° for 25 minutes.
